Instead of bowling after Bible Study/GTS, all of Kairos headed up north in Berkeley to Cordonices Park. We slid down the steep stone slide (on a piece of cardboard), played frisbee (glow in the dark), explored a dark tunnel, and had awesome snacks. Here’s a video recap of the slide, with our leader Tim performing a perfect dismount, Kairos lead, Sue Yi, having second thoughts going down the slide, and… the “marshmallow middle”!
Man, that slide was pretty darn fun! Can’t wait to go back again…maybe I’ll bring some motor oil and we can go down faster!
This video is HILARIOUS! i love just listening to sue screaming. hahahaha. Wow, never thought that a slide could be so entertaining (more fun to watch people coming down, I think). Maybe next time, if i’m feeling a little younger, I’ll try going down with one of the waxed cardboard pieces.
We’ll have to go again sometime. Maybe we’ll dare each other to go through the tunnel alone at night. :p
